Rangemaster professional plus 110 induction 13 yrs old range cooker

Fault is E4 on the display panel and the top center hop does not work.
I have swapped both master connection boards over and also swapped over two of the hobs but the same fault comes up.
the only two other boards that may be at fault could be the induction driver pcb or the hotplate pcb module.
which one is more lightly causing this fault.

e4 seems to be a communication error

could need configuring or and need new board

you have to re configure after fitting new parts which is a sequence to follow on the control knobs

should be able to find out how

Hi Dave
This is the earlier older version that has multiple boards and i dont believe that it need configuring.
I have fitted the larger board to a rangemaster in the past and configured it but this one is different.
It has the boards that i listed in my original enquirey thanks.
