Got a Hotpoint DH93X (Double Electric Oven) Customer said lately when grilling food not cooked. They select full grill setting and 10 min’s on the timer. Before they said that setting was working fine. Of course I tried it a few times and it worked as it should. Customer said they get that one time works next time not. Thought immediately regulator but no matter how I tried grill it glowed perfectly. Don’t want to waste money or time changing Timer/programmer or regulator if it doesn’t fix i. Also there saying in main fan oven food only cooking properly on one side checked elements and temp ok

have had complaints like this before

grill why would you use a timer on a grill? cant you just watch it for 10 mins and if you start the timer from cold you only get about 7 mins of full heat

tell them you cant be certain its the timer as the fault will not show and they can either 1) wait till it gets worse or 2) pay for the timer and you cant refund if it does not cure it

oven if element and fan are ok, it is what it is, and you cant alter the design. you could change the element at their own risk but again cant promise

Thanks for reply, thought same myself just they’ve been using a timer on grill (i don’t know why) and saying ok b4 now intermittent not grilling. Will tell them if change parts no gtd it will work.
