re Ignis Dishwasher ADL348 Wash Motor

Hi All.
Re an Ignis (whirlpool) DW Model ADL348 ( 8545 3481 5820 ) Set Prog, Drains, Fills. Then Wash Motor Starts for a few seconds then stops. Does this around six or seven times. Then Pump Drains Water and Light Flashes as Error. ANy Help Thanks

Check if its got the water sensor (flow switch) in the sump. Its a black grill on the right hand side of the sump. If it has they often clog with gunge and the flow of water wont activate the microswitch, hence shuts down pretty much when you state.
You can access this from the base with the plinth off, if your really lucky and ive been several times you can flush it out with some hot water and a syringe without removing it. (always worth a go).

Its a bit like the blocked sump hose on the Bosch easy to miss but dead simple when you know its there. 😆

I use an old toothbrush to clean them, not too hard though. 🙂
