Hi, this our fist time on the site,

Just wondering if anyone could throw some light on this obscure make please??

The make in question is a nect dishwasher, we reqiure the on/off switch??

The model no of the machine is no is wqp 12-6015

Can anybody throw some light as to where we can purchase the switch please.

This machine is a chinese made appliance, of very dubious quality, the official agents are Maple Industires/Kitchens or whatever the are calling themselves ATM from Oldham. You will get little or no help from them, Dave Conway may know of a source but personally I would steer well clear of any Necht appliance. 😥

You could try Sovereign on 01527 578333 assuming this one is a Haier.

I’ve been asked for that switch 3 timer recently but it’s not the normal Haier one 😕

ive just sold the last one this dishwasher is made by little swan in china i try to get you one if you like just email or pm some times delivery from necht takes some time cost from necht was £8.00 but prices change day to day with them

There’s a whole load of WQP12’s out there, the vast majority being Haier but the WQP12 – 6015 is made by someone else then ? Perhaps a sub company within Haier ?

i emailed haier in china about parts for is dishwasher they told me it was made by little swan went on http://www.littleswan.com/en/home/index.asp they have a tie up with indesit emailed them 4 times no answer

I have worked on a few of these and, to be honest, they seem to be a better build quality than the ‘normal’ Indesit crap. Or is it my imagination?

When I said I have worked on these, perhaps I meant I have seen a few. I have had the odd blocked pump and one with a heater faulty and was able to replace it with an indesit heater. The machines seem very similar in design to the merloni ones that we all love to hate.

The baskets are crap on these…

Necht is just a brand name for Maple Kitchens/Industries.

It all depends on the appliance and model as they are rebadged appliances, generally either Merloni (the Servis version), some Whirlpool, some Fagor and a few obscure one’s as well. Haier make some of the dishwashers and it appears from this thread the “other” Merloni may be making some for them as well 😕

Anybody considered that “Necht” is a play on “Bauknecht”? Sometime world superstar quality appliance manufacturer………. until Whirlpool…….

If they can ruin a brandname, why not let the badge boys finish it off by association?
