ParticipantHI all. Anyone had a whirlpool d/w that possibly has had a damaged Wash/motor due to Volt Drop In Supply over time. Fixed in a mobile home which often gets a Volt drop down to around 180 volts due to overdemand on power supply, lights all dim washing machine stops ect. The model is a whirlpool 8511 644 15850 think model is ADG644IX BUT Not same parts as shown on Partmaster for a ADG644IX. Dishwasher just over a year old. Wash Motor seems to have the Heater attached/fixed to the rear and not the seperate in line type. Problem is Now even with a supply of 240v Wash Motor not working enough to pump water around system so Heater not working. Trying to source parts with no luck at the moment. any suggestions ? cheers

Connect shows the usual Ceset “spray pump” motor for that model. If the old one was a big Askoll grey plastic with bayonet fitting, (like a big drain pump) don’t faff about just change it – they go for fun. The Ceset fits perfect and is a much better motor.

does their power come from the national grid, or is it generator ?
or does it swap to generator when grid power low ??if its generator power problem can be caused by difference in megahertz..
grid mains is 50…generator is 60..causing pumps to work in reverse etcally

This is the new type wash motor and comes as a wash motor( electrical part only) part no. 481236158478 and a heater which has the pump housing attached 481225928927.

Cheers Chaps. Its not the Usual old type wash motor but a new smaller type with the Heater straight on the back as per Johnmac11 Suggested Part Numbers. It was fine till a frequent Power Drop. All the lights go down to low Orange glow, washing m/c stops ect Power from Nat Grid probably a small local transformer as in the Wilds next to a pub who when start cooking everyone suffers + No back up generator. Now even with 240v All other appliances running ok Motor Noisy and not pumping water around dishwasher. Looking at cost will probably render BER Thanks Maybe try and get a few pics up to show if poss.
