Hi all, re whirlpool AKP511/WH single electric oven hinges. Ordered a couple to replace broken hinges fits various whirlpool models as per item 481241719153 in whitegoods shop. New ones arrived seem stuck in closed position dont seem to want to open probably me being stupid! anyone with any help cheers.

Heh – attach mole grip to the tongue and stand on the frame – it’ll lever back.

Cheers Chris. Door was jammed solid in closed position. undid 2 lower Door fix screws, removed outer door put a mole grip on each hinge still wouldnt budge, didnt want to chance breaking inner glass. Had to remove top, and side panels and saw top pin of Hinge Receiver/Bearing to be able to remove door. Once off replaced Hinges and Pins in Receiver refitted door and all ok. Thanks
