Read publications Ltd.
Had a phone call yesterday from this company offering advertising space in a book that is sent to local authorities to refer to for tradespersons and the like. £45 + VAT one-off fee for a business card sized ad; limited to a maximum of four local companies in each classification.
I think I’ve seen this before on here……although I can’t find it with Search. Anyone dealt with these characters before?

No but dozens like them, its always the 4 local companies card they play mostly. Big waste of £45’s worth of advertising. (IMHO that is.:wink:)
I guess you never took the TS route and their Buy With Confidence Scheme did you Steve? There’s no downside to taking that route as I’ve detailed before EXCEPT that the likes of Read Publications, Local Authority guidebook companies, Local NHS guidebook companies latch onto those of us that are approved by TS. Oh, and also local newspapers ring to say that they are “running a feature…..”
