    Hi,

I’m looking to refit a small kitchen which already has a visor style cooker hood fitted which vents to the outside through a hole in the exterior wall. The hood is mounted straight in front of the hole and the hole is positioned in the middle of the hood.

I’d like to fit a new hood and use the same vent hole but I’d like to position the hood about 20 cm to the right. This leaves me with a problem as it looks like most (all?) hoods’ vents are in the middle of the back of the hood and can’t be positioned offset from the vent without using extra ducting. I don’t want to use extra ducting as it’s not practical.

Does anyone know of a hood (either visor or chimney) that can a) be vented at the rear and b) be positioned offset from the vent?

Many thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
