Recent Downtime

I am really sorry about the downtime on Friday and over the weekend but that is now mostly fixed.

There are some minor issues yet to be resolved and a couple of bits to be put back into place, this will be done as soon as I possibly can. Live chat is now back online and available, as are the forums as you can see if you’re reading this.

PM’s are still down. This is (I think) due to an upgrade in the forums in both security and features, there should be buddy lists available with alerts when friends come online. 🙄 I’m hoping this gets resolved soon, you’ll see what it’s about when it comes online.

I’ll catch up on the news tomorrow, 2 sick kids and a website down was not a recipe for a good weekend this weekend. 🙁

Okay we’ve changed the look and feel of the site a bit by going to a theme called “fisubsilversh” if you don’t see a funky modern looking clean design then go to “Your Account”, selec “Themes” and change it to that and all will become clear.

You then have new options, like adding buddies, who’s online status is reported to you and the option of a “quick reply” in the forums.

This is now the default layout and is optomised for a 1024×768 desktop resolution. If that just swept by you without registering ask and I’ll explain.

All the PM functions etc should now be back online. If there are any problems at all please let me know.

Ken if we can’t put up with a little downtime now and again its a bad lot. Its nice to see us back up and running and a big thank you from here. If you can do this with two young ones sick what will you pull out of the hat when they’re well. Once again many thanks and a get well soon to the Kids and a good nights sleep to you. 😯

Yeah well had it not been for Trevor’s valiant efforts as well it would not have been fixed as quickly as it was as I was flapping a bit.
