reclaim units repairs/service

Hello,
not sure if this should be in technical or general, but here goes.

Got an old reclaim unit (refrigerant gas) that desperately needs servicing and/or repairing. Got a new engineer starting and don’t want to fork out hundreds of pounds until we’re sure he’s up to the job. Does anybody know of a nationwide company that services these machines? Or preferrably somewhere in South Wales?
