Recommend me a new gas hob

We have moved house and need to replace the current eletric hob with a gas one.
So we’re looking for recommendations about 300 ish but could do alittle more to save replcing a few years down the line.
last onewas a eltrolux one for a few (5 ish) years ago and was still going strong when we moved out are they still any good?

So any recommendations?

Anything from the Bosch / Neff range is always worth going for. Gorenje worth a look as well.

The wife has decided that she like the look of the Hoover HGL 64 SCX.
Is it ok or a peace of junk?

Most used to be Whirlpool made which isn’t bad, If you are looking at budget end the Gorenje as I mentioned earlier would be a good bet.

I’ll be honest I’m not but the wife is going by looks rather than anything else. I don’t want to have to replace it in a year because it crap.
I’ll see if there’s someone round here that has stock Gorenje
