Recommends needed on a few things please

Hi there.
I’m starting up as a sole trader again and would like some recommendations on who/what to choose for……….

Public liability insurance (is there anything I should be aware of to avoid unseen pitfalls?)

Spare parts supplier

IR testing meter & where to buy from

Accounts (are there apps or software we can use that logs everything your accountant needs to file your returns?)

Who to bank with

I’m not being lazy, I am researching all of the above myself; I simply prefer to consider things that come recommended from trusted sources.

Pitfalls? Only carrying and using gas cylinders, refrigerator gases and such like needs to be declared. Minimum £1m liability coverage.

Err? You’re already in the trade yeah? Otherwise you carry such a device anyway and realise its potential so I don’t figure your question?

Accountants use Sage

IR tester is needed because I don’t own one as some thieving scumbag broke into my van years ago. Since I returned to the trade, my employers provided me one. Now I’m coming back into the trade, I need my own again.

Last place I worked used a basic 500v digital Megger.

There’s plenty on eBay, but I’m cautious of buying from there.

Got a martindale insulation tester cost a couple hundred quid but it’s brilliant

Santander for banking.

Some of my clients insist on 2m cover so may be worth going for that
