recommned a sub £500 washer dryer

My hotpoint wd440 is looking pretty dead and I have to say it has probably been the worst appliance I have ever owned.

I’m looking to replace it – today – so I could do with some recomendations

The dryer function is only a secondary consideration as we don’t use it too often but definately need one. We have no room for a seperate dryer

In the sub £500 I would go with the Bosch WVD24520GB as a reasonable bet, the best one being The Miele WT2670.

A good article here on washer dryers which is worth a read.

I would still consider a seperate tumble dryer even if it`s one of the small 3kg compact machines 😉
