Recon boards

    I sometimes use recon boards from EMW which I think are great.Infact better than new ones.
    My problem is trying to get my customer to invest in a second hand part.
    Do you tell your customers its second hand .Do you describe it in a more elegant fashion or maybe you dont say anything because you know its just as good as a new one.
    I would appreciate your thoughts on it.

    No, but make a point of informing them that they are ‘fully refurbished to a standard way beyond that of the original manufacturer!’

    I Inform The Customer That’s Its A recon Board

    Simply because That iv never been Able to sell A New one to Dear 🙁

    Even Though I have The Hpt Card Reader And Low End Adapter Which I Dought il Ever use What A Waste Of Money 😥

    I tend to point out that the recon. boards carry a guarantee whereas new boards are often only guaranteed if fitted by the manufacturers engineer or agent.

    Most pcb and motors for Miele are exchange and these are like hundreds of pounds.
