Refitting top cover AEG Oko Lavamat 72620

Hi,

I replaced the water distributor in my machine last night, not too difficult once the relevant panels have been removed / loosened. But I am struggling to refit the top cover of the machine, held by two screws fitted vertically (upwards) at the back of the appliance.

Whilst I was very careful to note which screws went into which holes, I forgot to remember(!) which way the top cover was removed.

It looks as though you line it up maybe 5mm back from the front edge then give it a shove from back to front to line up the screw holes, but I can’t seem to get it to seat properly.

Any ideas?

No magic, sometimes the front edge of the top can be quite difficult to locate back into the front console trim, perseverence is the only way. 😉
