    hi all

does anyone now what a thermister for the fridge compartment or freezer compartment should read at room temp? or are they all different,
if so a rough guid would help, also does the resistance go up or down as they get colder,

thanks for any help with this. wayne.

They are all different but tend to operate between roughly 10 and 50 Kohm.
Negative temperature co-efficient [ntc] thermistors increase in resistance value as the temperature reduces and positive temperature co-efficient thermistors decrease. NTCs are more common but you may find PTCs in some appliances.
