    Hi guys, does anyone use a dye for leak testing on a domestic unit, was with a customer that does Ac on cars and he was telling me they use a UV dye to pin point the location of the leaks.

    I don’t know can this be used was R600?

    Just one of those random thoughts.

    No – for no other reason than the amount that you get for sundries would not cover the cost of using the dye together with capital expense of getting the injector/uv lamp. With a/c most of the pipework is visible with domestic very little is.
