    What sort of size and split (fridge/freezer) are you looking for and is it just white?

    50/50 split would be good and not too fussed about the colour – my kitchen is cream so anything that would blend with that. Thanks

    Hi,

    The only Miele one I can see in the price range is this one, nice machine but auto-defrost in the fridge only. 😕

    This isn’t a bad Bosch though and is frost free with a few nice touches on it. Nothing outstanding although it will be reliable I would expect.

    An interesting option is the Electrolux ENB40400 which is a nice bit of kit for the money with a huge amount of space in it. Again frost free etc.

    Most of them appear to be a 60:40 split in favour of the fridge which is probably more sensible in many ways these days.

    However, if you want to save about £100 off your budget and not loose a lot of space, the Bosch KGN39V00GB strikes me as pretty good value for money and you’re not sacrificing much of anything to make the saving either.

    noooooo.. its a bosc kgn34, so its one of ‘them’

    any bosch starting kgn33/34 is one of ‘them’

    What’s wrong with ‘them’ ?
    I was looking at getting one of those….

    The KGN39V00GB looks like a reasonable alternative though, assuming they are ok.

    The new range is okay, we have had no problems with any of them.In any event you have a two year warranty as well.

    Also the Gorenje range most of theirs are half and half
