We have a integrated Beko washing machine (WMI71641) seems that something has gotten behind the drum and is causing a scraping/sticking as it turns. Was looking to try and remove the Paddle to see if I can find/remove whatever is catching but can’t find anything on how to do that for this model? Doesn’t appear to be any screws, and it doesn’t budge when trying to pull the paddle towards me.

from what i can see quickly they dont list a paddle so if it breaks its a new drum

put your head inside and see if you can figure out where its scraping. if you put something through the holes in ther drum you can carefully try to catch it and get it to the bottom where it can be removed either through the sump hose or heater aperture

first check its no a bra wire still caught in one of the holes of the drum

Thanks will give that a try, annoyingly I can actually find a replacement paddle ,just nothing on how to remove or add! Had assumed that as there was a part for it that it would be a simple replacement job but sounds like no such luck!

Have already looked at the holes and nothing spotted there. Noise seems to be consistent in where it is so will try getting something through the holes to knock it free.

on most machines if you place a torch flat on the drum and then move the drum with your hand bacvk and forth you can see through and thats normally how i manage to spot where they are first. A lot of the time its trapped by the heater
