ParticipantThe microwave is prod no 947001271
Can’t find out how to remove the decorative frame to allow the microwave to come out for repair
The frame is glass fronted cant see any screws, afraid to lever it too much in case I break it, seems to be fixed in the corners
Have tried pushing the microwave back in the housing but the microwave won’t move.Have looked in the service manual on TDS disk no reference to the frame, not in customers instruction book either. Only other chance I have is the Kitchen company who fitted it 3 to 4 years ago ! but only get answerphone at the moment, probably on xmas hols still lucky b..ggers, other than xmas day and boxing day have been running round fixing mostly cookers, and most of them Neff. 😯

Worked on one of these last year & if my memory serves me correctly there are 4 concealed screws in each corner, is there a beveled plastic surround? very hard to see if you don’t know what you are looking for, basically its screwed to kitchen cabinet & screw covers are put in place. Microvave sometimes will lift up & out without taking off frame, put both your hands inside on roof of appliance & lift up slightly & out towards you.

Yeah, pretty much all of those have 4 screws concealed by wedge shaped plastic bits in between the vent fins in each corner. Beware if its the black fronted one as the outer clear plastic usually “crazes” when you prise these out and if the customer notices thses it will cost you a packet. Best warn customer before proceeding, its not much damage but you know how beady eyed they can be after you have finished.
BTW if the fault is no turntable or fan, but the clock counts down and the mag can be heard then just disconnect it from the mains for 30 secs or so, re-start it and the fault will be gone. Dont ask me why but we have had loads. -
