    Re: repair-care recalls ???

    update…

will pay for user missuse inside 28 days,
    but not another component failure,…
which i suppose is understandable and the norm,

think weve been spoiled getting paid for which is tecnically a recall.

    I don’t like that.

My crystal ball is busted and I don’t know what might break in the next month.

Asides from which, the last time I checked, it said on the door I did appliance repairs, not underwriting others risks… that would be the insurance company along the road that did that. 😉

I agree I have no problem warrantying something iver which I have control i.e my workmanship but not parts that have nothing to do with me .
that is why I will dispute recalls vigorously

So, when you take your car in for a new exhaust, if the piston rings blow within the next month your garage will fix them FOC?

    I don’t think so.

warrnty period is 28 days from repair.

trying to find out if this is the same for all rep=care agents?.

i agree with all comments, its not that we have a lot of recalls ,and most when we do get them are user missuse or component failure
