ParticipantHi to all just want to let all repair care agents, know we at T A spacagna have been ostracised by RC becaus we dare to complain about the level of work we were getting.
As a compony that has given loyal service from the start we feel we have been treated totaly unfairly as we still wanted to talk this through with them so all I can say to all RC agents is watch your backs.

I assume they gave you notice and cited a reason etc.
Did they give Dave Parker the onerous task of telling you they have switched you off? After all he was the guy that was in at the beginning of the set-up who talked everyone in and convinced them to join up.
I somehow fancy that Dave probably deferred that task. He is a genuine sincere chap, and I would guess that some of the machinations that are happening within Repaircare are not in his full agreement.
Rumour has it that not only the agents were kept in the dark re the loss of the DSG work, so was he. Probably because he has principles and the people behind the Repaircare operation is aware he has a bit of respect.
Just out of interest, who else has been given the chop?

We have been dumped too, but no great loss as we were not doing much in the end for them, but no loyalty, we did 10,000 odd jobs for them, started in august 2004 after supporting them after they bombed NESN out, in the last 18 months we only did about 20 jobs a week on average because we dropped lots of calls for low rates.

Was it something you said? 😉
It is a bit undemocratic though if you are taken off the system for either speaking your mind, or even having the nerve to say what others are probably thinking.
Surprised there are only the two so far. Rumour has it the new incumbent (David Boden) at Connect has a cunning plan to remove smaller agents and concentrate on super agents, all well and good if they have the work I suppose.
I assume the calls still on the system can be cleared off O.K. but if you haven’t had notification, how do you know the finalisation procedure. Looks like someone has reacted without giving it much thought.
Encouraging though if Mr Parker is looking into this, obviously a man of principle.

No, finished last job then sytem locked me out, cant see how much they owe me or anything, then David Parker couldnt even ring me, he got Tina in the office to give me the news.
I am not that bothred anyway as i reduced my area for them massively, from 2004 i was doing the whole of cornwall, then due to costs and lower rates i reduced it to truro and surrounding area. I think you are right about super agents as The Repair Guys (aka appliance care exeter) have been after the whole area for a couple of years. It was almost certainly my mouth in the forum that made them do it, but it wont have any impact as i had allready reduced the amount of work i did for them, it just shows a complete lack of loyalty from them though, in 2004 i was threatened with court action by nesn when coverplan moved to repaircare and i went with them, i still did work for NESN ongoing too.
Never mind.

Perhaps they are trying to weed out those that they are getting a poor service from or that are causing poor reviews online.

When searching our company I came across one of these and started to look more to find some very scary comments about repaircare.

There’s no ‘middle ground’ when it comes to customer reviews websites. Clearly from reading through that list the overall negative review total is 66{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}. Fortunately few indie companies are named though one of our WTA boys did get on that list sadly. Therefore it is hard to judge the overall customer experience across the total amount of indies using Repaircare as a W/P. But it has to be said that when you’ve shelled out over £105 up front and got bad service, the first thing you will do is to go on-line and warn others.
It does beg the question though as to how many that use the service are happy with the result. Chances are we will never know.

We never did the repaircare calls that they charged up front for, I didn’t want it as its my name on the van outside the house, not theirs.
