Repairs to Elica Stone cooker hood?

5 year old Elica Stone was noisy for a few weeks then stopped. Electric still active (I can hear the hum). It might need lubricating or motor changing.

Can I get hold of a repair manual?
Any advice on investigating the fault (apart from turning off the electric supply!)
If that fails, what’s the best place for replacement motors?

It sounds like a it could be a motor fault but determining that will come down to diagnostic skill.

Appliance service manuals invariably do not exist I’m afraid, see here:
