I just got a two year old Indesit BAN12NF fridge freezer, I hear a repetitive clicking behind the freezer control panel at the top of the fridge which continues for a few minutes then the fridge freezer stops and seems to be dead. I just found out that this fridge had a warranty call out to fix the same problem and the technician adjusted the control panel ???
    Anyone have any advice ?
    thanks

Would likely require replacing the complete board imo, faulty relay on the board is the probable cause if it is compleely dead.

I have confirmed that the 12V relay on the board is cycling so I can source a replacement part and solder a new one onto the board, my I am concerned that the relay is perhaps working correctly and it is the input signal that is the problem, but I don’t know what the relay input and output is controlling? I tried the fridge again today and the fan runs when the door is opened the light comes on and the fan stops then after a few minutes the clicking starts and when it stops the fridge seems dead and the light no longer comes on, presumably the relay is giving a signal to the compressor ?

Take the details off the relay which seems like it supplies the power to the compressor and google it,shouldn’t be a problem if you can change it yourself.
