Replace Door Interlock Switch on Bosch WAS32466GB/05 washer

Hi All
I need to replace the door interlock switch on a Bosch WAS2466GB/05 washing machine. How easy is it to do this? I saw a video doing this on another Bosch washing mc showing removal of door seal spring, then of front door rubber seal, and then getting access to the interlock switch through the door gap created; the video showed that by pressing the two plastic switch lugs this can then be removed & replaced without taking the front door assembly off. Will this work? I have found the replacement part I need on the Whitegoods website.

You can get the lock out that way. Can be a bit fiddly as the cables are secured to the casing inside but if can unlock the plug should be no problems

Have a wfk2401 u1
the rubber seal dosnt have a spring around it seems sealed?

can u get the door interlock from rear or side of machine? Would the drum be in the way?

rubber cant be sealed to the casing
have not met one yet that cannot be removed

just checked it does have a wire and spring
