Replace Indesit IWDE12 Integrated Washing Dryer

Hi,
We are looking to replace our Indesit IWDE12 Integrated Washing Dryer, it was installed in the house when we moved in, we bought a newly built house, so it was part of the build, we have the owner manual, But the template for fitting the hinges on the door is on the box that we don’t have.
So, I guess few questions:-

Does anyone have a template (I did go to the indesit manual section, but that is the same as I have, so no template)

Is there any easy way of finding a Integrated washing machine that will fit the same hinges, in other words, can I put in I have a Indesit IWDE12 and want one that has same door fitting?

Is there an easy way around this problem, or do I need to get a Carpenter in to re do the holes etc.

How easy would it be for me to install the machine my self, we looked at Currys and I think they want £95 and I don’t think that includes the door fitting, I think its making sure it’s level, connecting up and sliding it in.

Cannot the decor door be turned upside down thus fitting the hinges on the opposite side? 💡

Good idea,but the door has a handle on it,so that would’t work.

Not necessarily, as the holes can easily be filled in and paint matched over. Even wood effect doors and acrylic covered doors can be similarly treated. Invisible mend, total restoration, nothing is impossible. 😉

That’s true, just adds to the cost of replacing a machine.

Why can’t the fitting being a standard one?
