    Falcon Continental Induction 10yrs old.
Can’t find out how to get rid of this error code which appears when I replace the pcb, not with the old one. I think it’s about needing configuration? All I have are knobs to turn, no buttons. Tried turning a knob with correct pan on ring – no change. So how to get rid of error code er 31?!

assuming you are talking about the induction hob board. If yes they do need configuring but I don’t know how.

Thanks Dave. It’s the board that has the knob setting indicator numbers on it ‘hob indicator unit’ pcb I think it’s called. Identical EGO number to old one. What other ways on other hobs allow you to configure? No buttons, just knobs.
Fault on the hob is that often the 2 LH rings won’t turn down to lower settings from high power. Moving the pan can trigger the lower setting to come on. The numbers showing are correct, just not the power level. Changed the energy regulators but no difference so trying this board.

    short answer not done any
your is probably built by rangemaster who did some training on these last year that I missed
you could try ringing them and ask they can only say no

Was sent this configuration procedure for Falcon range induction hob. May be of help to someone who tries to replace the control indicator board! I’ve not tried it as using iron pans on that side rather than steel bottomed only ones helped restore more control… See pics next post!
