Ok, so my Bosch washing machine has died, after 12 years. Looking to replace with another Bosch, we do about 4 washes a week, looking for a mid range price, any suggestions?

    Hi Paolo

It might be worth getting your old Bosch repaired as the new Bosch machines are not as well built as they used to be!

I know this because I have a 15 year old Bosch WFF2000 and it is FAR better built than the modern ones, also easier to repair – very simple. Your old Bosch will also rinse much better than any new washing machine available today!! 🙂

    All the best

Oliver , please don’t use sweeping statements stating that no new machine will rinse as well as your old Bosch. A lot of new appliances have ‘rinse plus’ buttons which help with the rinse cycle should a customer be having unsatisfactory results.

When I say no new machine will rinse as well as my old one I mean it uses a lot more water to rinse eg. 1/3 up the door and it does 4. I will give you the challenge of naming a machine that puts water that high up the door that you could buy today 😆 .

Even with rinse plus the water will not go that high up the door, as most machines you cannot even see the water on the rinse cycle 😥 .

I have even had this backed up by a washer repair man with 30 years in the business. There is even a blog dedicated to this problem, there are countless people who have a problem with the rinsing of modern washing machines!

I’m not trying to offend here but washing machines do not rinse as well as they used to 🙁 .
