Can someone provide some guidance on this job on this Model machine. In partcular how to access the motor assembly, pulley and other attachments
Its possible to swing the front assembly out on hinges but there is a fixed partial panel behind this which restricts access even to take the weights off the drum.
There is no rear access panel. The solid rear panel is contiguous with the side panels which are in turn welded to the small internal front panel mentioned previously. The drum is exceptionally heavy so presumably this is why they have chosen this rigid construction.
The drum looks like it would have to be taken out of the top. However I need access to disconnect the suspension units, motor and pulley etc. Is this done through the base of the unit? I have noticed two small plastic caps either side near the base on the rear panel. Although removing them doesnt reveal anything obvious I guess they allow access to some bolts within for some reason.
How do you access the motor etc on this machine. It seems unlikely that the engineer would have to upend the machine and remove the base panel in order to put a new belt on or service the motor?
Hope you can help
