    Hi,

My Bosch washing machine stopped working while on a spin cycle. Since then, it will fill with water but not spin. I suspected the motor brushes and threrefore removed the motor and brushes. As suspected, the brushes were almost non-existent. I also noticed that there was slight marking on the motor armature (see photo).

My question is, does this marking of the armature mean that if I replace the brushes, it will still not work due to armature damage? Is it dangerous?

    Many thanks.

Clean it first using a commutator bedding stick.
