    Hi,
I’m about purchase a replacement element for the my Neff U1461N2GB/05 (this one) but want to double check my understanding on a couple of things.

    Picture included below to help…

Firstly, the narrative on the above page describes securing the earth lead in the wiring loom… I don’t think I have an earth lead, although there are three spade connections / five cables connected to the element, hence the next question.

Secondly… The aforementioned three leads… they’re all look fairly similar (although the four into two space connections appear to have red banding – suggesting the positive) – does it matter which way round they’re connected? Will it be obvious when I get the new (clean…) element what goes where? Or is it simply the two (positive?) spades are connected to one end and the grey banded space connection to the other?

    Many thanks.

There’s no earth connection on the element you have there, the connections will be exactly the same
