Im sorry if this is a really silly question. I have an integrated fridge freezer that is not working properly and I want to replace it. However I don’t want an integrated one as a replacement as I plan to completely redo my kitchen at some point in the not too distant future.
Is it as simple as just ordering a free standing one that will fit in to that space, and if I get the company to recycle my old appliance will they take the cupboard away as well?
thanks for advising a novice! 🙂

    Hi

The easiest way of doing it is to go for a Hotpoint RFAA52 or the frost free version FFAA52 and slide it straight into the existing carcass.

Or yes you could tear out the carcass and put a 60cm wide appliance in there. You will have to dispose of the old carcass yourself though.

    thank you Don
I wanted to get a samsung one. the RB31FERNBSS Fridge Freezer, A+++ Energy Rating, which is 60cm but I don’t think taking out the carcass will be too problematic for me to do. Is there anything else I should bear in mind though?
    thanks

    Hi

Just make sure the aperture you are left with is square so as to take the 59.5cm width of appliance. Don’t forget the depth is deep at 66.8cm on that machine.
