    Hi,

I have a Hoover frost free fridge/freezer, model number HNMF2805A80. The fridge section is too cold and is freezing food and liquids in the fridge. I have tried turning the fridge/freezer off for a couple of days in case this was due to the channels being blocked with ice. This didn’t resolve the issue so I’m making the assumption that it is probably the temperature sensor. My understanding is you have to cut the insulation away to get to the sensor. I was just wondering if anyone could provide some guidance as to where exactly the temperature sensor is located and hence where I would need to cut away the insulation?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi spimps,

Thanks for your response. Do you mean that if I buy the temperature sensor it should be supplied with the dimensions of where to cut? Or does this come with some other kit? I emailed the UK Whitegoods help regarding the temperature sensor and whether it would come with guidance on how to locate the sensor and they replied saying Hoover won’t supply this information.

    Many thanks
