    Wotcha,

After a bit of research on this site and some other sources, I’m pretty sure that the reason our food is always so uncooked is because the elemtn has gone on our NARDI FE0614. I’ve bought a replacement element from this very website, but I can’t find anything about how to replace it – any advice?

Oh… turn the power off – I’ve got that far!

Which element – fan, base or grill?

Base I think – its the oven that won’t heat up, but the grill and fan work ok.

OK – let’s try and work this out……. If the element you have is a circular one with a fixing plate, it’s a fan oven element. Normally this would involve removing the rear panel of the oven box, a few more screws will release the element, allowing you to pull it forwards to reveal the wiring. If you’re unlucky, it may be secured from the back. The oven will have to be removed from the housing, the rear cover removed and the element undone from the back.

If your element is square or rectangular, it is a base element and will fit under the floor of the oven. As above, the oven must be removed from its housing and the rear cover removed.

Needless to say, any of the above must be conducted with the power off.

    Regards,

it’s possible to replace the fan oven element on this one from inside the cavity.
