Hi, I have a Bosch Washer Dryer model WDU28560GB, there is a problem with the drying cycle.

The wash cycle works fine, it will get part way into drying and the display panel will reset to a longer time e.g. 2 hours and just stop.

I called Bosch, the first person I spoke to was really helpful and suggested wiping the inside of the drum and then resetting the machine. I can’t find out what the reset procedure is though, and whenever I call Bosch back they insist on an engineer visit.

Does anybody know how to reset this? It’s one of those with a touchscreen and a dial with lights i.e. no physical knobs or buttons, other than the on/off switch int he middle of the dial.

Thanks in advance for any help!

It’s only a year old. The thing with Bosch is the first person I spoke to told me how to reset it but think it was for a different model as it didn’t work on this one, when I called back the person denied any knowledge of a reset procedure, so just wondered if anyone knew how to do it.

The engineer can’t come til Thursday so if we can sort it sooner than that it would be great!

    thanks

there are various reset procedures but with the controls this one has I don’t know

also a lot of Bosch washer dryers were made by Smeg. Not sure on this one but if it is Smeg then bosh resets wont work

I would wait for the engineer and watch to see what he does
