Resetting AEG Favorit help please

I’ve googled and searched the forum every which way, can’t find what i need, so…
I have an AEG Favorit 40850 dishwasher.
the other day our drain blocked up, and the anti-flood was triggered.
I unblocked the drain, did the lean it on its side trick to empty the machine, and shut off the water and disconnected / reconnected all the pipes to reset the valve.
problem is, I don’t get the anti-flood warning anymore, but I keep getting the ‘problem with water drainage’ warning code every time, and the machine doesn’t appear to be getting any water to it at all.

any help or advice really appreciated, I live in the middle of nowhere and the call out fee alone is more than I can afford 😕

If you have tipped the machine on its side to drain the flood water, you may well have run water into the water level control system. This can cause the machine to think its full of water, even when it isn’t. Ensure that the pressure switch and associated pipework do not have water in them and you might have cracked it.

Power off, of course.

I hadn’t properly cleared the water from the safety valve, so when I had another go and let my (violent) girlfriend make like it was a snake that wanted its neck broken, that did the trick and it’s whirring away happily again 🙂
