It’s actually Indesit’s fault this one.
I’ve just run the Jan 2006 price update for Partfinder and it’s changed 2600283 from about £12 list to £37.86 ex VAT 😯 😯
Connect will have their prices indexed to Indesit’s but there’s no way that thermistor should have changed that much, the evaporator one 2601683 is still at the old price of £9.35 ex VAT.
I’ll email Indesit I think 😉
Dave.

Indesit wrote:Hi Dave
I have just checked the price for the 2600283 and yes there must have been an error because the list price is now amended to 9.54 before vat.
Better tell Connect I guess 🙄
Dave.

Creda main oven thermostat for 49511t
6227150 – £44.58
All the other stats have £15 – £25 alternatives. I can’t find one for this 🙁
And of course, the customer doesn’t want to spend that much on his oven 🙁
Damn you Merloni! Damn your eyes!

But does seem quite appropriate though to the occasion though 😉January 6, 2006 at 12:02 pm #159860woz

Off Topic but i believe it was Iron Maiden- Hallowed be thy name

As for being ripped off aren’t all spares for what ever it you’re trying to fix a complete rip off.
I can’t remeber where i heard it but if you made a ford fiesta just from spares bought from the dealership it would cost about £30,000

Where? There’s public safety considerations and the license fees for such events are ludicrously expensive! 😉

The Cashmeister? Cool! 😀 I can’t remember where I heard it. It just made me laugh at the time, and I use it alot now.
If the reciepiant is female it’s “Damn you woman!” in a baby from ‘Family Guy’ style.
If the reciepiant is male it’s “Damn your eyes!”

Somewhere sparsly populated. Somewhere with miles and miles of open space. Somewhere empty. Somewhere, where you could house 3 small African countries. Oh, Scotland! Well, the north bit.

As a matter of interest, if anyone hasn’t updated Partfinder prices, could they look up: C00078377 as I am sure that used to be a lot more than it is now.
