I have the same problem as Peter
How to remove the hinge sockets from the oven? Does the cooker have to come forward?

    Kind Regards Jude

    Hi

Not an easy job unless you’ve done a few.Manufacturers say sides off but you can do it from the front if you can get in.. different ones you can, some you can’t.

    Re: Rosieres 4040DB hinges/hingesockets

    Hi Bryan,
Thank you for reply.Even if i were to pull the cooker out and remove the sides, how do I access the 2 inermost sockets/runners. ie the rhs of the left oven, and the lhs of the right oven.
I have an exploded diagram of the 4040DB showing the part numbers. I mention this if it is helpful for you to refer to the ref.Nos.

    Kind regards— Jude

    Re: Rosieres 4040DB-replacing oven hinges/runners

Is there no 4040DB owners out there who have changed the hinges, who can give me some advice, before I order replacements, particularly replacing the inermost runners?

    Kind regards Jude

    Hi Jude

The centre ones are replaced by partly removing the centre munion. But beware if you pull it forward and bend it too far then it’s a total strip down of the whole cooker ass to straighten it. This job isn’t for the light hearted and just beware of keeping your fingers when putting the hinges on.
