🙂 My daughter & family have moved into a bigger house,which has a Rosieres 4040DB. The ignition electrode on the front left gas ring does not work. Could you please tell me how to lift the hob in order to interchange the ignitors to prove the defective one. Does the cooker need to be pulled forward to raise the hob?

Hi

It’s not just a simple lift the hob top off. The whole appliance needs to come out and both the solid cast iron plate needs to come off first. And then the rest needs to come apart. Easy if you’ve done it before but nightmare if you haven’t.

I’ll tell them to use a hand held ignitor for the time being
