    need advice fitted two orange neon lights to this cooker works well but when turn off the lights flicker any idea whats causing this?

    They do seem to do this Tony, I’ve even replaced the lamps due to broken lenses and the new one’s do it as well.

    It’s normally a slight earth leak on one of the elements (customer still on fuses/no rcd).

    We had a problem like that on some of the cheap ovens that AIS do recently. The cure was to reverse the live and neutral on those neons and sometimes it even worked.

    Other than that there’s only the usual suggestion of checking all the normal stuff to find out where you’re getting the leakage from.
