We have an old (I’m guessing 10yrs +) Rosieres Bocuse range cooker. A few weeks ago the element on the fan oven broke and I replaced it. Now the oven doesn’t cut out when it gets to temperature, just keeps getting hotter.

I’m assuming it is the thermostat that has gone.

Does that sound right and if so, would anyone know how I could get hold of a thermostat (and if so, how much and how difficult it would be to fit myself).

    Thanks,
    Anthony

    Almost certainly the thermostat.

Can you check which version (model) please and I’ll check price and availability etc for you.

Oh, and which oven ? 😀

    Dave.

My wife is one step ahead of me – she not only has the oven model number which I think, from the top of the instruction leaflet is 2040dDBUK, but she has also spoken to someone (who didn’t have the part in stock) but gave the part number as 93476620

    Thanks

    4040DB I think isn’t it ?

Could you check from the rating plate on the cooker please 😀

    Thanks.

    Dave.
