Rosieres Bocuse RB127 oven – hob thermocouple replacement

I am looking to replace the thermocouple on one of the gas hob burners.
Previous forays into this cooker have failed to find as easy way to access the underside of the hob – any ideas?

Call in the local agents. It is not recommended to mess with gas appliances especially so when you have to ask. “Previous forays” sounds even more disconcerting reading. 🙁

I am more than qualified to replace the thermocouple.
All I am looking for is somebody that has previously tackled getting into one of these. I didn’t want to waste time removing dozens of screws from the top / back / side just to find it would have been easier from a different direction.
It is far from obvious when looking at it.

The previous foray actually referred to a visit from the local agent who had the same problem, I ended up showing him how to get the hot plate off!

Give them a call and together you can sort it. The thing is that an agent is at least Gas Safe qualified and that is THE most important consideration.
