ParticipantI have a Rosieres Paul Bocuse Dual Fuel cooker.
The left hand oven has been tripping the electricity only when the fan oven was used. I was able to use the conventional oven.
This morning, the fan motor was replaced, which seems to have solved the problem with the fuse box.
However, I have just tried the Pyro setting and the fan is not working, nor is the oven heating up on the P setting. The door locking mechanism has worked.
Any suggestions as to what the problem might be? ThanksDecember 22, 2016 at 10:28 am #443958Bumblebee16

Update: I have just tried the Pyrolytic setting again.
The fan is not spinning, but the oven is heating.
It has taken an hour for the thermostat light to go out.
The oven door is hot: I can see the top element is red hot and have opened the warming drawer to check that the bottom of the oven is burning hot as well (just a slight touch needed to verify this) 😳
Therefore, I believe that my cooker is working to full capacity for the first time in ages. 🙂December 22, 2016 at 10:33 am #443959admin

Hi
If the fan motor has failed then that setting will not get to the correct temperature for a long time and it will cause the fan element to fail also if you continue to use that function.
With this model you will also have a conventional oven setting. Does this get to the correct temperature ?.
If you require parts for it we can supply.

The fan motor was replaced yesterday.
This model doesn’t have a fan element.

I don’t know whether I should start a new thread for this question, so please let me know.
I have never used the 4.5kw burner with either the hot plate or griddle. When I use it like this, should I take out the burner spacer?
Yesterday, I tried to use the hot plate and left the burner spacer on. However, the carbon monoxide alarm in my kitchen went off! When I take the burner spacer out, the flame goes out after a short while. (There is gas in the bottle being used.)
I have the user manual, but it is not clear on this point.
Thank you for your help. -
