I have some notes which start ‘ unscrew the upper fixing screw of the left hand trim…’ but I’m not sure what that refers to! Any clues? If it’s gas the leave alone and disconnect the cooker until it is repaired. If it is a gas top then you will need a gas safe registered engineer.
