Help please have a Samsung rs20ccms fridge freezer every 2 weeks or so the numbers start flashing and it fails to keep temperature when I strip it down there is an accumulation of ice at the top and bottom of the evaporator heater please can I have some guidance is it the heater that’s gone or likely the sensor thank you

It could be the heater, thermal fuse or the sensor.
The fuse is easy to test it has the red and black wires.
Test it like any fuse to see if you have a circuit.
If you have it’s the sensor or heater.
With the sensor to test it you have to check resistance and temperature, so as the sensor is not expensive try a new sensor first before buying a heater if the fuse is ok.
