Hi all!
I’ve seen a few people have the same issue but couldn’t find anything recent.
I have the RS20CCMS Fridge Freezer and the freezer started to lose temperature and food started to defrost.
I found a post on here that said to remove the back panel and defrost the block with a hairdryer which I’ve done three times and its working each time.
It’s great that it works like that but I would rather fix it permanently now 🙂
On this last time it has happened, the fridge temperature flashed so I turned it off at the wall, turned it on again and it has now stayed at 17 degrees.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Re: RS20CCMS Samsung Side by Side Fridge Freezer – Slight fa
Hi again. The defrost sensor has been replaced but unfortunately it is back to square one again 🙁
The fridge is flashing again on the display and the fridge is not cold again.
It worked as per usual for around a week after replacing the sensor but it obviously isn’t the answer.
Any ideas on what is next?
Thanks

Check the thermal fuse to see if you have a circuit ( Red & Black Wires ) if you have a circuit then the fuse is ok and it will be the defrost heater. If you have no circuit on the fuse it will be the fuse.
Re: RS20CCMS Samsung Side by Side Fridge Freezer – Slight fa
Both of the heaters are clear of ice when I do the whole defrost thing so I guessed that the heaters must be ok. I’ll check the thermal fuse and see what happens!
Thanks for the advice!
