Why is it only in whitegoods that if a product fails for whatever reason, then people jump up and down for a replacement.
I’ve had cars that have gone wrong more than once under warranty, as have I suspect alot of other people. I didn’t go back to the dealer and demand a new car.
No I let them fix it 😉
I didnt come on here to slag people off or to take abuse. I made my post for people to get a replacement. 🙂
but you did, and you got better than you gave.. the information you supplied is wrong, and your attitude was shocking.

If the info was wrong why is samsung UK replacing my goods? They are faulty and i refer you to the bbc watchdog and the many posts over the internet with this fault.
I say this to you.
You agree that I should let you fix it. if i was to have this broken down 3 times in 5 years that will cost me 6 days off and 3x£100/£150 in food. If samsung was to offer this they would not sell any of these. The fridge is faulty. and us as customers are not here to line your pocket with money!

If you bought a shotty Lada for 3 grand, you’d expect neither the build-quality,reliability,comfort or longevity of a Mercedes.
See, Phil, you bought a “lada riva” of fridge-freezers.yea, it’s got an ice-maker, double doors,a mirror and other gew gaws, but it was only a third the price of “the real thing” an American-built “american fridge.
yoyr RIVA is pretending to be a Range Rover…yup they both have high bodies, big knobbly tyres and 4 wd….but yours is 1/3 of the price for a reason!
It’s a cheap, short-term bit of FLASH…as such it will need constant fettling to keep on running.
You’ve been offered a 5-year time-life component….so eat it! pay your routine maintenance cost to have this changed periodically…….or do you never service your car? just wait till it breaks down and then act stunned that things break or wear out..many years ago, Hewlett Packard made the world’s best electronic test-gear. EVERY SINGLE component was tested and checked against a very tight specification….HP stuff “never” broke down,but you continued to lug the 100lb brick around whilst the cheapskates bought another new,small, light,flimsy, short-life bit of kit……..why?….cos HP was an arm and a leg to buy .

Samsung probably gave you a deal because you gave them so much grief, it was the least painful way to get rid of you!…you know, the noisy wheel gets the grease 🙂

Irrespective…
The utter rubbish that was posted earlier was removed and, any subsequent outbursts of that nature will also be removed. If you can’t put across your point without resorting to swearing and personal insults then don’t bother posting as I WILL delete it, very likely without even reading it. The moderators will likewise delete any such offensive remarks.
If it persists I will remove the user responsible and that goes for everyone. I don’t mind healthy debate at all, I do mind threatening and swearing in a public forum that children can read as well as people that may be offended by such comments. That sort of behaviour will not be tolerated in this forum, end of story.
