Rule 8 : Please do not ask for wiring diagrams, schematics or for us to sort out any wiring problems over the internet. We cannot judge how competent you are nor the future readers of any thread, we’ll try to point you in the right direction but that’s as far as we can legally go.

Don’t you think it is about time this “rule” was amended? It seems to confuse and generate argument between trade and public each time the point is raised.

I propose it be more clear and concise to leave little doubt in the public’s mind. And perhaps simple read : –

Sorry but we cannot supply you with wiring diagrams or assist you with any wiring related problems.

Simple, precise and doesn’t prompt questioning.

True!………But since I’ve posted the question I have realised a possible marketing potential toward anyone on here in the public forums that asks for a wiring diagram…..hmm?
