Hi I have: Russell Hobbs RHSLDW2B

I ran a cycle and it couldn’t drain since the outlet pipe was too high. Fixed this and it rained OK.

Now when I turn it on it beeps at me for about a minute and the “Normal 55” light flashes indefinitely. Is there something I need to do to reset it? I’ve tried just holding down the “Start/Reset” button…

    Update:
    Found Manual here: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/10888 … =37#manual
I think maybe this is the case (page 35): “there is water in the base pan because of an overfill or small leak, the water should be removed before restarting the dishwasher”

If so how do I go about removing water from base pan?

a lot of dishwashers you can remove the cover under the door to allow access to the base, on some there are plastic covers that can be unclipped but if that’s not possible you will have to remove the machine and either remove the side or if you tilt it backwards slowly the water will flow out onto the floor ( don’t do it quickly as you don’t want the water to get too high inside the rear to wet the electrics )
if there is a leak in the machine it will do it again very quickly

Thanks @electrofix. Tipping it did the trick. 🙂
