Hi, this is a quote from another thread. It lead me to wondering whether I don’t need to use any salt at all as I live in a soft water area – or should I still use a bit as in the manual?

Also can you recommend brands of the powder detergent and rinse aid? Thanks. Is Finish a good brand for the salt? (if I need it.)
